Students will participate in Spanish class on Monday and Tuesday. Student grades will be based on participation and effort during each class period. While there will be individual and group assignments, there will be no tests or quizzes during this introductory/immersion course.

Use of online or software translation services to complete writing assignments (unless specified by the teacher) is considered cheating. Translators will translate phrases word by word which generally creates an illogical sentence. Students should attempt to simplify sentences and use previously learned vocabulary to complete assignments.
